Updating the 2019 player list

The list of players  was unveiled at the press conference on Tuesday 23 April. 

Some changes have taken place. For medical reasons, Sloane Stephens, Camila Giorgi, Mihaela Buzarnescu, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Petra Martic, Alizé Cornet and Aleksandra Krunic were forced to withdraw from the main draw.

Nevertheless, renowned players will be present this year such as Aryna Sabalenka, Caroline Garcia, Ashleigh Barty, Qiang Wang, Samantha Stosur, Daria Gavrilova. There will be 2 players in the Top 10, 6 players in the Top 50 (as of 17/05) who will be at the #IS19.
