As she did last year, the French will be in the Internationaux de Strasbourg final. In semifinal, A.Cornet had to fight hard to win against the Canadian youngster, Eugénie Bouchard 7-5 6-7 6-3.
A difficult match that kept spectators in suspense during almost 3hours. E.Bouchard faced the oldest player, honoring her first semifinal in a WTA tournament. An attacking game that had molested A.Cornet all match long. But the inhabitant of Nice stayed focus during the key moments, an experience that missed to her opponent. Cornet maintained her defensive game and will play her second final in the row at Strasbourg.
