INTERNATIONAUX DE STRASBOURG 2013 : A PROMISING EDITION

Kirilenko, Bartoli, Cornet and Hantuchova will participate to the IS ! Last Wenesday, the 10th of April, the tournament director Denis Naegelen disclosed the 2013 player's draw. 

N°1 French tenniswoman Marion Bartoli will be there. However the native of  "Le Puy-en-Velay" will not be the only French representive playing in Alsace. Pauline Parmentier, Mathilde Johansson and even Alizé Cornet will also be there.

The other headlining is the 12th player in the world : Maria Kirilenko. The Russian player, who's currently having the best season of her career, will provide punch, and of course, all her charm to this new edition.

The participation of the beautiful Daniela Hantuchova, (former World N°5) should also please spectators.

2013 will also see the return of a former tournament's winner : Andrea Petkovic. After a complicated year, spoiled by injuries, the German's game increases as time goes by.

Each year the tournament also chose to promote young and promising tennis players. 20 years old American Christina McHale and British Heather Watson are among the most promising players on the tour. Both of them will compete for the first time at the "Internationaux de Strasbourg" tournament wich we hope will be a springboard in their careers.
